In addition to learning about wearable and implantable sensors at the Summer Science Exhibition, there are also many other amazing works on display to cater for a wide range of interests!
Have you ever wondered what lies beneath Stonehenge and the techniques that scientists use to study it? Perhaps you would like to learn more about materials that heal themselves, learn more about facial perception, how plasma rockets can be used to improve the efficiency of satelittes, or what's happening to the glaciers on Everest? There's also a very interesting stand about cosmic rays, which has involved young researchers from schools across Birmingham. Finally, several other groups from Imperial are at The Royal Society presenting their work on single cell biology, magnetic monopoles, and sound interaction as well.
If you haven't visited the exhibition yet, there's one more day! Everyone at the exhibition has put on a great show! Congratulations to all and all the best for tomorrow!
